Geroy Simon started his CFL career as a Winnipeg Blue Bomber but has blossomed as a B.C. Lion. He won the league's most outstanding player award and fans' choice award at the Nov. 16 Rogers CFL Player Awards in the Grey Cup city. 24 hours' sister Winnipeg Sun recognized the all-star slotback on its Nov. 17 front page in newspaper boxes around the city, like this one at Canad Inns Stadium.
